NCTIES Conference Call to Present

This year we are offering three types of presentations: Concurrent, Technology Fair, and Vendor. Please look over the descriptions below and choose the type that best fits your need/comfort.

A Concurrent Session takes place in a meeting room with a formal presentation station and a seated audience. Length is one hour. If you are a vendor, please see Vendor Session information below.

A Technology Fair Session takes place in an open, public environment. Presenter(s) interact and chat informally with attendees who visit their station in an environment much like a science fair. Length is two hours. This is a great option for those who would like to share ideas but are uncomfortable with the more traditional format.

These first two types should center around one of the following:

• Traditional—content should focus on the implementation of a lesson, curriculum, technology, model, or project, or demonstrate a good electronic resource/tool or practice in teacher education or for securing or maintaining the technology infrastructure.
• Global Collaboration—content should focus on the curriculum/projects of specific non-US countries or global curriculum/collaborations.
• Student Showcase—content should focus on student work with K-12 students presenting their projects.

A Vendor Session focuses on educational technology products showcased at the conference. It takes place in a meeting room with a formal presentation station and a seated audience. Length is one hour.
