21st-Century Media Center

Monday, 8 am–4 pm, Lobby C

Connect with other library media specialists and teachers to learn about the latest technologies to support information literacy development; professional networking options, such as our successful Second Life™ virtual learning community; recommended Web 2.0 tools to use with students; and electronic resources, including websites, e-books, and audiobooks. Digital Arts Studio

Jump into an exciting play place of digital media! Create a claymation scene, compose a musical soundtrack, play with digital video, layout a webpage or dive into graphic design. Interactive Videoconferencing Playground

Come search for treasures to enrich your classroom! Join videoconference experts from around the country as they share their expertise in content and hardware to use with H.323 videoconferencing. Connect with zoos and museums that offer videoconference content to schools as well as an author and other experts! See the latest in HD technologies. Open Source Playground

Robotics Arena

Monday, 10:30 am–4 pm and Tuesday, 9 am–4 pm, Lobby D, Level 2

Features Denver area K–12 students displaying, demonstrating, and involving you with their robots from USFIRST and 4-H robotics programs. We'll give away several Lego Mindstorms robots valued at more than $200 each. Come, enjoy, and learn! Sponsored by ISTE's SIGCT.

Universal Design for Learning Playground

Do you have students in your class or school who struggle to achieve grade-level standards? Come visit this playground and experience how Universal Design for Learning strategies can foster access, engagement, and success! 3D Kick Start Playground
