Take part in ISTE's first-ever pre-conference Leadership Bootcamp, Saturday, June 26, from 8 am–5 pm, with an evening reception and showcase Friday evening, June 25, from 5–7 pm.
Jointly supported by Colorado's Technology in Education (TIE) and ISTE, the boot camp is designed to build understanding, facilitate conversations, and develop a framework for change around communication and collaboration practices as described in ISTE's NETS for Students, Teachers, and Administrators.
Leaders from all levels (school and district administrators, IT professionals, classroom teachers, librarians, district coordinators, and others) will engage in a day of learning and thinking that will lead to development of a working plan for improving communication and collaboration practices in their schools or districts.
Four free pre-bootcamp events will be held online this spring, and in the fall of 2010, Michelle Bourgeois and Alison Saylor will host a followup virtual event for participants to report on progress, share successes, ask questions, reconnect with friends from the day, and set next steps.
