Eligibility

Enrollment in UO classes as a Community Education Program student is open to the following persons:

  • Persons never enrolled at the university as regularly admitted students.
  • Persons never re-enrolled as regularly admitted students since the completion of a university degree.
  • Persons who relinquish their admitted status. (Undergraduate students should contact the Admissions office, 346-3201; Graduate students should contact Graduate School office, 346-5129.)

If you are new to the Community Education Program, you will need to create an active student record and obtain a Personal Access Code (PAC) that will allow you to register for classes. There are several ways to request a PAC:

  • Complete the form online, and then the PAC will be mailed to you.
  • Call the office at (541) 346-5614 to complete the form over the phone, then the PAC information will be mailed to you.
  • Visit the Community Education Program office at 333 Oregon Hall and complete the form, then turn it in to the Office of the Registrar in the same building. You may recieve your PAC information in-person, if it is during the appropriate part of the registration cycle. If it is not possible to offer your PAC information immediately then it will be mailed to you.
  • Visit the Continuing Education office at 975 High Street, suite 110, to complete the form, then the PAC information will be mailed to you.

If you are continuing as a Community Education student, and have been actively enrolled within the past four terms, you still have an active student status and can continue to use your existing PAC.

If you have questions about your status, call the Community Education Program office at (541) 346-5614, during the hours of 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., Monday–Friday or e-mail.
