Policies
- Through the Community Education Program, you can take a maximum of 8 credits during fall, winter, and spring terms. CEP students may register for more credits over summer term. Credit limits are set by the UO Provost and cannot be waived.
- You may register for UO courses where space is available, provided you have satisfied the course's prerequisites.
- CEP students without a bachelor's degree will be classified as undergraduate students and will not be approved to enroll in graduate-level courses.
- CEP students are subject to the same calendar of deadlines as admitted students. Registration generally opens for CEP students two weeks prior to the start of the term. For specific dates, please refer to the Calendar.
- Course work is recorded on a transcript and may be applied to degree programs as academic credit.
- CEP students planning to transfer credits to another institution should check transfer policies at that institution.
