Tuition

  • Tuition is based on the academic level of the course. CEP students can register for a maximum of 8 credits each term during the regular academic year, including a combination of graduate and undergraduate level courses. CEP students can register for more credits over summer term. Credit limits are set by the UO Provost and cannot be waived.
  • Tuition charges for CEP students include the following mandatory fees: Technology, Building, Registration, Recreation and Fitness Center, Energy Surcharge, Incidental fees, and any current surcharges. CEP students do not pay the Health Service fee and therefore are not eligible for health and counseling services.
  • Auditing (non-credit) fees are the same as for-credit fees.
  • There is no reduced tuition in the summer for CEP students. For details on summer term tuition and fees, go to the Summer Session site.
  • The staff rates benefit may be applied to CEP status enrollments. Details and request forms are available on the staff rates site from the office of Human Resources.
  • Some courses may have additional fees for course-specific items such as studio materials or lab products. Other courses have self-support fees that entirely replace tuition and mandatory resource fees. These fees will be noted on the course section details in the online class schedule.

Tuition is based on the academic level of the course. To determine tuition for undergraduate courses (100-499), refer to the vertical column at the far left (4 credits cost $855). Courses numbered 500-799 are assessed at the graduate tuition rate (see horizontal column, where 4 credits cost $1,921). Tuition for a combination of 4 undergraduate credits plus 4 graduate credits would cost $2,579.

Billing and QuikPAY® Account

The University of Oregon utilizes QuikPAY®, an electronic system for all students to view and print their bills, and make payments online.

Through the QuikPAY® system, an E-Bill e-mail will be sent to each student's official University of Oregon e-mail address each time a new Student Billing Statement is ready. Login to DuckWeb using your UO ID number and personal access code (PAC) and from the Student Menu you can safely access the QuikPAY® website.

On each billing statement, there will be the option of paying the Statement Balance, Total Due, or Minimum Due (three monthly installments). When the Minimum Due method is selected, interest and billing charges will be assessed to the unpaid balance. Payment of Total Due or Statement Balance must be received by the end of the grace period to avoid interest and billing charges. Payments apply to interest and billing charges first, then to the oldest charges on the student billing account. In order to register for the following term, all past due charges and at least a minimum of the current term’s charges must be paid. Please contact Student Billing for any payment questions.

Students and Authorized Payers can set up a secondary e-mail address that will also receive the E-Bill notification. Select "User Preferences" from the navigation bar in QuikPAY®, and enter your second e-mail address. To opt out of receiving an E-Bill, please contact the UO Business Office at stubills@uoregon.edu or by calling (541) 346-3170.
