Current Courses
The complete University of Oregon Schedule of Classes is available online.
As a CEP student, you are eligible to register for any UO course if space is available, if the course level is appropriate, and if you have satisfied all prerequisites. There are no special classes for CEP students.

Welcome to CEP

You can take credit courses at the University of Oregon without formal admission. The University offers courses for credit in almost every subject, on an open-door basis.

Pick up some extra credits towards your bachelor's or master's degree. Do some course work that helps you get a raise, kick-start a second career, or just explore something exciting.

  • Through the Community Education Program (CEP), individuals who are not admitted UO students can take up to 8 credits of university course work each term. There is no formal admission. Reduced tuition rates apply during Fall, Winter, and Spring quarters.
  • CEP students are subject to the same registration procedures and tuition/fee payment deadlines as admitted students.
  • CEP students planning to transfer credits from UO to another institution should check transfer policies at that institution.
  • CEP students without a bachelor's degree will be classified as undergraduate students and will not be approved to enroll in graduate-level courses.

On this website you can find information about who is eligible to be a Community Education student, the procedures for registering, the classes available to you, the academic calendar, detailed tuition and fees information, and much more. But, if you prefer to contact someone in person, just give us a call or stop by.
