Welcome

Saturday-morning creative workshops
for adults who teach young people.

Art Explore

Well-known arts educators Louisa Lindsay-Sprouse and Catherine Ballard have developed Arts Explore, an exciting new series of Saturday-morning creative workshops for adults who teach young people. Louisa and Catherine will be team-teaching the workshops, which welcome adult participants who are seeking inspiration through creative activities.

The workshops encourage playful problem solving, using short, hands-on activities as a vehicle for participants to develop their own youth arts activities. Participants will rotate through stations in visual arts, creative writing, movement and music, exploring an art idea through a variety of disciplines and media. Arts Explore workshops will be of interest to pre- and in-service teachers, home-school instructors, recreation program leaders, working artists, administrators, and many others.
