Registration Procedures

All are welcome and encouraged to enroll in these enriching programs.

  • If you are not an admitted UO student or have not enrolled in a class at UO in the last year, you will need to register through the Community Education Program (CEP). Contact the CEP office at (541) 346-5614 or (800) 824-2714 for registration procedures.
  • Currently admitted UO students and CEP students (e.g.—faculty, staff and community members) can register through DuckWeb.
  • Contact the division of Continuing Education at (541) 346-4231 or e-mail ctrinfo@uoregon.edu for questions about fees or registration.
  • Stone Sculpture non-credit symposium registration (e.g. Northwest Stone Sculpture Association) should be handled directly with the host organization. Please visit the Stone Sculpture page for detailed information on the NWSSA symposium registration. Credit registration for Stone Sculpture events can be done via DuckWeb, by calling Continuing Education at (541) 346-4231, or on-site with instructor Tom Urban. Payments can be made by check, Visa, or Mastercard.

The following grading options are available for these studio and workshop classes:

Credit Information

The following courses can be taken for credit only and cannot be audited:

  • Book Arts: 3 credits per studio course
  • PTDM: 1 credit per workshop

These courses can be taken for credit or audited for the same price:

  • Planning Interpretive Exhibits: 2 credits
  • Interpretive Exhibits Studio: 3 credits
  • Stone Sculpture: 1, 2, or 3 credit workshops

Tuition/Fees for 2008-2009

These courses have a self-support fee that replaces tuition. Staff rates do not apply. CEP students should be aware that other fees may apply. Information regarding tuition and fees is available at the Office of the Registrar’s website.

  • Book Arts: $540 plus variable art fee
  • Planning Interpretive Exhibits: $410
  • Interpretive Exhibits Studio: $540
  • PTDM: $225
  • Stone Sculpture 2008: $130 per credit
