Regular UO and CEP students register as normal via DuckWeb. Students new to the University can register via the Community Education Program.

Students requiring use of the handicap accessible elevators or lifts should contact Disability Services in advance.

Illustrator

Illustrator is software for creating vector-based illustrations. Students will learn to use Illustrator as the primary tool for constructing images for print and digital media.

  • Level I Explores the fundamentals of Illustrator and vector-based illustration. Students will create a four-ten panel narrative that uses illustrations to tell a story.
  • Level II Examines intermediate tools for creating illustrations, color application, and the use of illustrations for animations and interaction for web delivery. Students will produce animation and interactive components for a web page.
  • Level III Covers advanced tools and techniques for creating illustrations, including 3D objects and image mapping. Students will develop a mock-up of a 3D object that uses a 2D image mapped on to the surface.
