Welcome

Continuing Education at University of Oregon offers a variety of art programs in conjunction with the Arts and Administration Program and the Department of Art. Each program provides a unique opportunity for hands-on learning experiences. These credit programs include:

  • Book Arts—traditional graphic techniques through an annual selection of related courses
  • Gallery Management and Organization—explore management and operations related to the presentation of art media
  • Interpretive Exhibits—learn how to bring objects, images, and ideas to life for museum visitors through storytelling and organization of diverse presentation media
  • Professional Tools for Digital Media—five series in Dreamweaver, Flash, Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop.
  • Stone Sculpture—stone carving opportunities available for UO credit
  • Summer in the City—intense art and design workshops held at the University of Oregon’s new White Stag facility in Portland, Oregon

Not an admitted UO student? Register through the Community Education Program (CEP). (Please note: If you have ever been admitted to a degree program at UO and did not complete your studies, contact the Office of Admissions.)
