Ty Warren

Ty Warren

Ty Warren has been teaching digital arts at the University of Oregon since 2004. She earned her B.F.A. in "Printmaking" from Texas Christian University and M.F.A. in "Digital Arts" from UO. Warren taught Digital Imaging ARTD 360 in winter term 2008. Warren works with a variety of programs in the Multimedia Tools course sequence, including Photoshop, Final Cut, Flash, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, and InDesign.

Warren's work uses digital media, sound, and performance to explore the dissonance or "rupture" that occurs when dichotomies collide, intersect, and breakdown. She harbors a particular fascination with the tension between what is hidden and what is revealed.
