Applied Research

The AIM Program is dedicated to producing professionals who value basic and applied research as essential to the university’s intellectual health, as well as to our professional and personal lives. The AIM research agenda is broad, incorporating exploration that spans the information management field and reflect current issues in the professional arena. Student research is available in two forms: AIM eBriefings, presenting summary snapshots of final research papers for quick review, and the complete list of Capstone research paper titles and abstracts since 1995. Selected abstracts include a link to the full text document.

Complete Capstone research papers produced by AIM students are now posted in the University of Oregon Libraries Scholars' Bank—an open-access digital archive for the scholarly output of the University of Oregon community. The AIM Master's Capstone Projects and Papers, listed under the Communities and Collections menu, allows you to restrict your search to AIM Capstone papers, instead of the entire repository of UO research.
