Purpose & Objectives

This presentation will discuss the effective uses of wikis in educational settings. Beginning with fundamental editing and basic principles of using wikis, Wikispaces Founder Adam Frey will talk about basic wiki editing principles. Participants will be invited to participate on the wiki for this session and to create wikis of their own.

Vicki Davis, award winning classroom teacher who uses a wiki-centric classroom, will share examples for all grade levels of wikis and notes about implementation of the various structures of wikis. New wiki tools, monitoring, and classroom management strategies will be outlined and shared from current best practice.
