Program NECC Recording Policy
Through a combination of public forum and legal counsel, ISTE has adopted the following policy with regard to video and audio recording at NECC:
Video and audio recording—including streaming—of sessions for commercial use is strictly prohibited. Recordings for noncommercial use may be made only with permission of the presenter as indicated in the program listing for each session. Any permitted recording should respect the presenter's rights and not be disruptive.
Presenters were asked to indicate their recording preference for each session. Those who have expressly denied recording permission have been flagged in the NECC program database. Audience members should respect these presenters' wishes at all times.
Not Recordable Look for this icon throughout the NECC website, final program, and onsite signage to indicate when a session may not be recorded or streamed for any reason.
