At A Glance Social Events
The Opening Night Gala Celebrating 30 Years of Ed Tech Vision!
Sunday, 6/28, 7–8:30 pm, throughout WWCC
Come lift a glass with your colleagues and peers in celebration of ISTE's 30-year commitment to improving learning and teaching. Champagne, nonalcoholic drinks, and dessert hors d'oeuvres will be served. A cash bar will be available to those 21 and older. Cocktail attire encouraged!
Look for poster sessions, the Global Gallery, and Student Showcases to be active during this time. You can also hang out in one of the EnvisionIT! Lounges and catch a live simulcast of Opening Keynote Malcolm Gladwell's Q&A session. Student performers from the DC metro area will provide live entertainment.
Shuttle transportation will be provided between the center and most conference hotels. The last shuttles will depart the WWCC at 8:45 pm. The gala is open to registered attendees and badged guests only. Your badge is required for admission. Thank you Tier One event sponsors: Promethean, Cisco Systems, Inc., and SMART Technologies.

International Networking Reception

Join ISTE's International Committee and sponsors Dell, ePALS, and Oracle Education Foundation in welcoming educators from around the world. ISTE members and NECC attendees span the globe and bring with them inspiring stories, ideas, and network opportunities. Connect with others and explore possibilities for collaboration.

Library of Congress Open House
Tuesday,6/30, 7:30–9pm, Library of Congress
The new Library of Congress Experience will be open exclusively to ISTE conference attendees*. For those who signed up in advance, go to the Library of Congress partner booth (located on the Street Level, near rooms 145/147) to exchange your badge ticket for an entrance ticket to the Open House. Transportation to and from the event is not provided.
