Shattering Expectations and Exploring Adventure in the Classroom

Join blind mountain climber Erik Weihenmayer and actor Eric Close in an exploration that will inspire creativity and innovation in your classroom. This engaging and interactive session will apply the principles of a mountaineer's rope team to uncover the skills and tools you need to reach any Summit with your students.

Despite losing his vision at the age of 13, Weihenmayer became the only blind man in history to reach the summit of Mount Everest. He is one of fewer than 100 mountaineers in the world to touch the top of each of the seven summits.
