MICCA—A Maryland Association for Educators Using Technology
MICCA is the premier association in Maryland serving technology-using educators. Committed to providing professional development for its members, MICCA has emerged since 1984 as a major force across Maryland. Through a carefully planned yearlong program, MICCA provides face-to-face workshops and an annual conference, online courses, and a host of resources to support classroom teachers and administrators. These opportunities encourage leadership and proficiency in the use of educational technology, multimedia, distance learning, and other forms of cutting edge technologies.
VSTE—The Virginia Society for Technology in Education
VSTE embodies the community of those passionate about technology's role in Education. Since 1986, VSTE has been serving the entire community of technology-using educators and values the contributions and involvement of educators and those supporting educational technology. Its mission is to promote innovation and excellence in education through professional development endeavors supporting the integration of existing and emerging technologies. VSTE endeavors to be recognized as an agent of change across the Commonwealth. Complimentary memberships are available at www.vste.org.
