Opening Reception

Sunday, June 29, 7–9 pm, Convention Center

An opening night hoedown! With lots of room for all attendees to connect and convene, the NECC 2008 Opening Reception is sure to please!

Join your fellow conference participants and ISTE members at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center. Light food, non-alcoholic beverages, and live entertainment will be provided, courtesy of NECC's Tier One event sponsors. A cash bar will be available to those 21 and older.

Global Gallery and Traditional poster sessions will be live during the reception and you won't want to miss our first ever "Best Boots" contest! Wear your favorite boots and enjoy live music and dancing with Americana/Roots sensations, One Horse Shy.

The reception follows NECC's Opening Keynote Session. Shuttle transportation will be provided between the center and most conference hotels. Registered attendees and badged guests only; your badge is required for admission.
