Monday, June 25—Georgia Aquarium
Georgia Aquarium is the largest aquarium in the world with eight million gallons of fresh and marine water and more than 120,000 animals from over 500 species. The Aquarium has assembled a dynamic team from many fields to create the most entertaining and exciting experience for its guests. Children will delight in majestic exhibits that inspire, entertain and educate. The Aquarium is conveniently located in Downtown Atlanta across from Centennial Olympic Park and the Georgia World Congress Center.
The children will also get to enjoy the Georgia Aquarium's 4-D theater which features a 3-D film, a live actor, and interactive seats. The theater is one of the most advanced in the world, combining digital projection with a high definition 3-D film. But the production is more than just a 3-D film. It employs unique special effects that are built into the theater itself, creating a set of "4-D" effects that are synchronized to the film production, adding another layer of immersive fun for audiences. For instance, you not only see a jellyfish as they move by in 3-D, you also feel the tingling tentacles as they brush by your face.
Tuesday, June 26—Zoo Atlanta
Over one million visitors agree—Zoo Atlanta is one of the city's best loved attractions. The zoo occupies the southern half of Grant Park. Habitats are spacious and naturalistic with plenty of trees, bushes, watering holes, and cozy dens. Some of the special residents includes pandas, exotic birds, and freaky reptiles. You can also see some Atlanta specials: Ivan the gorilla, Starlet O'Hara the elephant, Kudzoo the gorilla, and the curiously named Allen the orangutan. Last but not least, Yang Yang and Lun Lun, two rare giant pandas, are a must-see for visitors of all ages.
Kids get to go on a special behind-the scenes tour of the Zoo that gives you the opportunity to discover what Zoo animals eat! Learn how they prepare animal diets and see some of the unusual treats the animals enjoy that you might like too! Then you will get to go on a special zoo tour with a guide that will lead your group and share fun facts and stories about the animals!
Wednesday, June 27—World of Coca-Cola
See, hear and taste the magical story of Coca-Cola—the world's most popular soft drink—at World of Coca-Cola. Located in a three-story pavilion adjacent to Underground Atlanta, World of Coca-Cola encompasses the rich history and progress of the refreshing beverage that was created here in Atlanta over 110 years ago. Learn about the beverage's history and global reach, see it served the old-fashioned way in a 1930s soda shop, and even watch the way it's bottled. Countless artifacts display the classic red icon and a symphony of pouring, fizzing and "ahh" sounds attack your thirst on classic radio and TV commercials.
At the end of the self-guided tour, approach the futuristic Coke dispenser with cup in hand, place the cup under the spout and BAM! Neon lights flash, sound effects ring, water shoots 30 feet into the air (three times) and the dark amber liquid starts to flow.
Club-Cola is the perfect way to top off your World of Coca-Cola experience. In "Taste of the States" enjoy servings of favorite soft drinks offered throughout the U.S. In addition, the International Lounge offers "Tastes of the World," a sampler of over 20 exotic beverages made by The Coca-Cola Company around the world that are not available in the U.S.
