Continuing Education Credits / Extension Credit

Certificates of Participation/Attendance
NECC will provide attendees with certificates to document their participation in the conference and attendance at workshops. Certificates of Participation for the general conference will be available at the NECC Information Booth beginning Saturday, June 23. Certificates of Attendance will be available in each workshop and, in some cases, must be signed by the workshop presenter. Please check with your district or state to see if this is a requirement before coming to NECC 2007.

Extension Credit
Cal State San Marcos semester credit is available for an additional fee of $150 per unit (you may choose to apply for 1 or 2 units) to assist teachers in satisfying professional growth requirements. Extension Credit appears on official transcripts and is generally honored by school districts as evidence of professional advancement for salary increases on the pay scale, but is not degree applicable. Registration and payment is separate from conference/workshop fees and will be made available at the NECC Information Booth.
