Purpose & Objectives

Partcipants will learn:
- What a wiki is
- How to create and use a wiki
- Why wikis are important in education
- Different ways to use wikis in the classroom
- Common objections to wiki use and responses to those objections

Outline (for Open Source Lab)

Partcipants will learn:
- What a wiki is
- How to create and use a wiki
- Why wikis are important in education
- Different ways to use wikis in the classroom
- Common objections to wiki use and responses to those objections

We will split our time roughly evenly among these topics.

The presentation will be hands on with continual feedback and interaction with the audience. We will be using a wiki to collaboratively document and build a resource for the presentation during the presentation.
