The Answer to "Why We Conference"

We conference because we like connecting with others! Connect with your peers from around the globe at NECC's new Hot Topic Networking Lounges. These gathering zones will have comfy seating, power, wireless connectivity, a Promethean ACTIVboard, and plasma screen. Topic-related Birds-of-a-Feather sessions will take place in the respective lounges on Monday and Tuesday afternoons.

If you have a great tip, resource, or strategy to share, consider signing up for one of our new Lounge Acts (impromptu "show and tell" sessions). To schedule yourself, just add your day, time, and a short description to the sign provided in each lounge.
  • Bloggers' Café, Level Two, between B209/210

  • Leadership, Level Three, Commons Café

  • Innovation & Creativity, Level Two, opposite B212
  • Infrastructure & Planning, Level Three, Commons Café

Wiki for Hot Topic Lounges

Please use our Hot Topic Lounges Wiki before the conference to generate ideas and make plans for lounge acts or schedule times to gather and discuss particular topics.

At the conference and after signing up for a time for a "lounge act," you can add the day, time, and description to the wiki as well as the room sign to get the word out.
