Poster Summary

Overview & Objectives
Because teachers are using Web resources more often, there is often frustration on their part because of the need to constantly keep the material fresh and relevant. RSS allows this to happen almost seamlessly when implemented properly. A teacher can select appropriate content and have that content automatically updated when new information is available. RSS feeds can be customized to refresh on a daily, weekely, or monthly basis. The student doesn't have to do anything to receive the new content except open their reader or aggregator.

Outline
I will introduce some educationally appropriate Web content. We will then discuss the problem of how to manage the content (bookmarks). We will then set up RSS feeds for our content and see how easy it is to organize and update our content.
