Concurrent Summary
Overview & Objectives
The challenges School Districts face involve the creation of sustainble planning to reach high academic standards, highly qualified teachers and the responsibility of handling large amounts of data consistently and effectively. Through the open-source business model, we have created a series of products guided toward giving content solutions for school districts. Participants will: 1 understand the value of open-source solutions 2 gain a basic understanding of Moodle and ePortfolio 3 see how online courses and digital portfolios can benefit diverse learners and teachers 4 know how to continue more in depth learning of these topics through a public server and open-source sites. Handouts, a digital presentation and available web portal will enable participants to expand their learning throughout the school year.
