	Identify interests
	What aspects of the NECC program align with your interests? See the Program home page for all that NECC has to offer, and use the preselected searches on the Sessions & Workshops page to browse sessions by category, or use the Program Search to find selections by theme and strand; see What's In It For Me? for program information based on your job function. Are you part of a team? Work with your teammates to identify their audience areas as well.
	Clarify attendance goals
	What do you need and want to get out of this quality conference experience? What does your team need? Your school, district, or state? Need to learn more about national standards? See NETS for Students, Teachers, and Administrators. NECC is the perfect venue to build staff development or professional development credits.
	Strategize
	Review each activity area in light of your goals. Attending with a team? Work out coverage of relevant topics, levels, and activities, then schedule daily meetings in the Overlook Café area to discuss your findings. Use the Online Planner to figure out your schedule ahead of time, and use every moment onsite to best advantage.
	Identify critical "extras"
	Dig deeper. All NECC sessions are searchable online by NETS, topic, level, audience, keyword, and more by using the Program Search. Add a workshop—but register early, because these high-quality experiences tend to sell out.
	Plan to network with your peers from all over the world
	Plug into a Birds-of-a-Feather roundtable. Have some fun! Networking flourishes at the NECC social activities, including Monday's Opening Reception and the Keynote Luncheon on Thursday. Make new connections and renew the old at ISTE Special Interest Group (SIG) meetings and the all-SIG Reception. Volunteering at the conference is another great way to connect with fellow educators.
	Schedule time to investigate the latest and greatest from the corporate sector
	NECC's Exhibit Hall offers the best, most complete venue of Ed Tech providers in the world. Stroll the aisles, attend demonstrations, take part in drawings for free products, and see firsthand what's hot. If you're part of a team, it gets even easier to "see it all"! Attend the Corporate CEO Spotlight sessions (posted mid-April) offered by NECC's most active corporate partners, and check out the exhibitor-sponsored sessions offered during the conference program. Look for exhibitors with signs identifying themselves as members of the ISTE 100.

	Register now. Remember that ticketed events sell out quickly; you can check availability online as part of your registration process. Make your housing reservations early for best selection. Plan ahead to bring your family and for your transportation needs. For those looking to make NECC 2005 a full-family experience, a Kids' Camp and tours for the family are available.
