Technology in Education (TIE), Colorado

ISTE 2010 is brought to you in part with the organizational support of Technology in Education, (TIE), Colorado. TIE is a Colorado-based organization founded in 1986. TIE's mission is to provide a platform and forum for classroom teachers in Colorado and surrounding states to improve, expand, and share knowledge of best practices in classroom technology integration.

TIE organizes a premier statewide conference each summer to help teachers integrate technology tools and 21st century skills, including technology and information literacy standards, into all content areas. The annual event is a four-day, hands-on, technology-focused conference that models and promotes the use of technology integration in the classroom.

After a year's hiatus partnering with ISTE 2010, New Frontiers, the 24th annual TIE conference will be held June 21–24, 2011 at Copper Mountain Resort. Check the TIE website for more information.

TIE is organized and managed by a governing board of nine volunteers.
